Checking In -- It Has Been FOREVER!

Hey Everyone!

I hope that your back to school season got off to a great start! It's a big time of the year, whether you have littles or if you are a student yourself. I have been busy falling back into the groove of going to class and trying to balance homework and social life (AKA my planner decorating haha).

I want to get into blogging some more. I'm not sure what I am going to talk about... but I have some ideas.

Have you followed me on Periscope yet? I haven't completely figured the app out, but I have done two short broadcasts. I'd love to have more people tune in so that we can get some conversations going! What sort of videos would you be interested in? I am thinking some plan with me's might be fun! Or maybe a walk through of my sticker organization, or my craft supply organization in general... Let me know!

There's like two of you that actually see this...... so. Maybe I will start a facebook page or something.

Who knows.

Anyways -- See (? talk ?) to you later!

New Video: Erin Condren Walk Through

Hey there,

Today I had some quiet time to sit down and film another video, so I took advantage of that.

What is it about? Well, it is focused on my Erin Condren Life Planner, and my few go to supplies for it. I run through what I use the sections for, and how I use my supplies in a way that works for me.

You can find the video on YouTube HERE

Not interested in watching but still want an overview? Here are the supplies that I use the most in my planner:

- Neon dot stickers (walmart, target, etc)

  • they are super inexpensive
  • four different colors (pink, orange, yellow, green)
  • great for color coding!
- Sticky notes (Brand: The Girl of All Work, Where I bought them: The Container Store, Price: around $5)

- Thin washi (Michaels Recollections Brand)

- Ultra Fine Sharpie

I hope that you take the time to watch the video, it is a little long... My apologies.

I will be doing a run through of my Kikki.k and Webster's Pages soon!

Thanks for stopping by!

Week 20 Erin Condren Layout

Hi planner nerds!

I was throwing some stickers down on my pages for this week and remembered I was supposed to film it... Well. It's a bit too late for that, so here are some pics and some details!!

I used these stickers from planitwithstickers (Instagram and etsy) to mark what days my boyfriend has off this week. I also used one to mark when I go talk to my manager about a summer job.

I used these sticky notes (Heidi Swapp, I think) to remind myself to fill my schedule in if I have my job back. Which hopefully I do...

Here is a shot of how I cut my washi to fit in my daily squares. So easy. So crisp!

Here it is! The book is from a sticker sheet I got at a local craft store (Pebbles is the brand). The butter fly if from Hobby Lobby... Nail polish sticker from Oh So Fawn (etsy and Instagram).

I hope to get the week filled in soon so that I know what's going on. Work schedule will dictate that!

Final pics will be on Instagram!

My First Video!

Hey everyone!

I am happy to announce my very first video! LINK: https://youtu.be/EnWDkeB67ek

This video is quick (8 minutes-ish) and right to the point.

In case the video does not work for some reason, here is an overview of what was covered in it!

My light pink Webster's Pages Color Crush Planner:
- Personal/Medium size
- Used to be used for food and fitness tracking
- Now used to track photo/list challenges
- Overall, the planner isn't very good quality, especially compared to a kikki.k or filofax
- I bought it to see if I liked using ring bound planners (answer is yes, I do)
- Inserts are from Sewmuchcrafting (Instagram and Etsy)

My large, dark mint Kikki/k:
- Large/A5 size
- Use it to track food and fitness
- I also use it for Etsy/order things
- Sometimes I take notes in it (firm tours, meeting with clients, etc)
- I LOVE the size, I am a large planner kind of girl
- Lots of space for writing (and decorating)
- Calendar inserts are from Sewmuchcrafting (she is my go-to, hands down. SO sweet!)

Erin Condren 12 Month Planner:
- About the same size as the large Kikki.k
- Perfect for school
- I use it to keep track of homework, school, chores, everything!
- There is SO much space
- Super colorful and inspiring

I use all three of these planners simultaneously. The reason that I have the Kikki.k and the Erin Condren is that even though there is a lot of space in my EC, there just wasn't quite enough for EVERYTHING that I wanted to keep track of. I was running out of space to decorate... We can't have that!

Anyways, I hope that the video runs smoothly. It is perfect on my computer. I had to awkwardly clip it because I forgot to cover up some details... Things will get better!!

Thanks for checking it out!

xoxo, Riley!
